An end to ‘highest risk’ category in Scotland.

I received a text from gov.Scot yesterday informing me that the highest risk category is ending on 31/5. Apparently the vaccine effectiveness along with anti virals and monoclonal antibody treatment means we are no longer at any greater risk than the general population. Although nothing much will change for me on a practical level, I did feel a surge of relief. I realise it’s not over yet but psychologically I feel as if I’ve reached - and passed - a significant milestone. My shoulders have moved down from my ears a little!
