I wish I lived near enough to join your choir, Mishap - but I think I am tone deaf so I would probably have to mime! What a very worthwhile thing to do.

Live music for all - one of my obsessions. I run an allcomers community choir with several disabled singers amongst us. It is a joy to us all.

No-one should be left out of the singing/music-making - it is our birthright and excellence is a relative concept. We are too hung up on the virtuoso culture - wonderful though these people are.
