Not sure if many of you will remember the film, but apparently it is now going to be a touring stage show.

The thing that sticks most in my mind from the original film is the chap that played the lead singer, Andrew Strong, who was only 16 at the time!

What a voice!

I remember the film, the lead singer had a great voice, whatever happened to him?

A quick google would seem to show that he is still in the music biz and active, but I',m sure I read a few years back that he was working in some area unconnected with the industry.

But whatever he might be doing, that was one hell of a voice for someone of 16!

It was a good film, great music and some terrific one liners.

Yes it was a fantastic film and Andrew Strong just amazing.
I think he went to America but was still singing last time I googled!

He has got to be one of the most underated singers ever, I can listen to his singing all day long such a great voice, the film is a classic and some of the scenes I shall remember with a smile, the girls climbing over the back garden wall up a ladder showing all their wares was priceless.I hope the tour comes to Liverpool Empire as I would love to go and see it.
