My mum and Dad loved Sidmouth and had many happy holidays there.
My dad drove there for a weeks holiday in 2001 the year before he died.
They went from Cheshire to Leicester to pick up my aunty and then down to Sidmouth via my sister in Bristol.
Dad was 86 my aunt 84 my mum 82.
He should not have gone as my mum was then getting very anxious with dementia but my dad was not one to be put off by anything.
This was a round trip of 600miles
Intrepid (or Foolish) were the words I thought of.
