Cliff Richard thinks that maybe “it’s time to gracefully exit the Chippendales market,” Sir Cliff says in his book.

I actually feel sick.

I should add that I was never a fan of Cliff Richard. Closeted or what, but that’s up to him.

Calendargirl I think flossie’s calendar had pictures of actual young good looking priests from the Vatican, but yes I do wonder if there is a flea bag hot priest calendar? ?

I found an image of one like the one flossie described, and some of them are gorgeous!

I worked in a mainly male theological college. I had hot priest calendars. They were very popular among certain student. Although one did say they weren’t real priests as the vestments didn’t fit properly.

Totally naked men are not a vision of loveliness in my opinion. Chicken neck and giblets as my Mother used to say.

What a vision that conjures up!???

Flossiebo I wish I could buy a hot priest calendar as a joke present for a Catholic inlaw?

As in ‘Fleabag’?

I like calendars with places on - places I’ve visited or those I’d like to visit. Pictures of animals, human or not, famous or otherwise aren’t for me.
If you like a person, even Cliff, then why not have a calendar with his pics -but not his pecs.

Im with TillyTrotter ?

Uniform every time. Not a Cliff fan, but I do like looking at Richard Gere as Zack in “An Officer and a Gentleman” and have watched it many times ?

I think he is and was definitely better clothed.

Just give me a man in a dinner jacket with the tie loose or in a shirt and jeans with bare feet (I don't know why the bare feet bit, it just works for me!!) and I am quite happy!
Many ladies prefer being able to use a little imagination - and the lights out, so you don't see the reality!!!

DanniRae Sun 04-Jul-21 15:13:28

I feel I have been quite unkind to Cliff in my posts - I am sure he is a perfectly nice man grin

DanniRae Sun 04-Jul-21 15:11:45

I don't imagine he looks half as good in real life Kate - a lot of photoshopping me thinks!!

Kate1949 Sun 04-Jul-21 10:53:55

I am not particularly a Cliff fan but I think he looks great for 80. He has looked after himself and looks slim and healthy and I like the way he dresses. I dont know any 80 year olds who look as good.

Calendargirl Sun 04-Jul-21 10:52:06

Must be hard accepting you are ageing and just not as attractive as you once were, when you have been in the public eye.

Thinking of Cliff, and Brigitte Bardot, but maybe she isn’t bothered, as she does a lot for animal rescue or similar.

Probably the old life seems rather shallow now.

I buy a Cliff Calendar for an older friend who likes them.
I don't have Cliff or any other person on a calendar. But why not, if you like a person. At least he’s still alive (just). I wouldn’t help the producers make money by buying Diana calendars either. I find the thought of a dead person, not family or friends on the wall repulsive, but if you like it, why not.

DanniRae Sun 04-Jul-21 08:58:51

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Cliff's hair - I don't know about him posing by a haystack it looks as if he has one on his head! shock
I actually feel sorry for him because I can imagine all those people who make money out of his calendars convincing him that he still looks great.......and, of course, he really doesn't. sad

Elegran What gorgeous creatures (and the animals are alright too). I prefer a bit of hair on a man's chest, though.

Thebeeb Fri 02-Jul-21 20:24:55

Well ……. Think at 80 shirt on is preferable.
But I have to admit To having saved all his calendars for more years than I can remember. It’s a tradition that one of my children buys me one for a Xmas present each year. Silly but I can’t throw them away. Got stacks of them.

Flossiebo Fri 02-Jul-21 20:16:09

Sorry, I know its an old thread, but we were in Rome a couple of years ago and I was agog at the calendars of young, very attractive Priests that were on sale ?
I am not religious, but was actually quite shocked!

M0nica Fri 02-Jul-21 20:13:55

No, I would rather watch paint dry.

Grannycool52 Fri 02-Jul-21 19:27:53

Oops, old thread, sorry!!

Grannycool52 Fri 02-Jul-21 19:26:45

I was never a fan of Cliff, but really, even his face is positively weird now. It's after all the years of Botox, I guess.

MissAdventure Thu 31-Dec-20 17:24:10

I think Burt Reynolds looks great in that pic. tchsmile
