The choir I'm in is currently doing Summer Breeze by the Isley Brothers. I think it's a beautiful song about ordinary, everyday love - not soppy hearts and flowers romanticism.
Time In A Bottle by Jim Croce - such heartfelt lyrics. I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face from My Fair Lady Quiet Nights Of Quiet Stars - sung by Frank Sinatra, it's the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim and is so beautiful.
@chocolatelovinggran Days was playing as the radio was turned on just after I gave birth to my youngest child. I get teary every time I hear it. My 28 year old, oldest daughter told me that she had became unexpectedly very emotional when Into my arms by Nick Cave was played by him at the O2 a couple of years ago. It made sense when I explained used to sing it to her then aged 5 years.
