I've slotted this in, ironically, under Culture & Arts.
Donald Trump's exceptionally refined ideas on decorating the Oval Office have been consigned to future generations for good: he's signed one of his raffle-ticket Executive Orders forbidding future residents of The White House from altering anything he's already altered.
The pic accompanying, on BBC News, looks like he's sitting in a run-down fairground/tired Santa's Grotto. So much gold gilt paint, so much assorted tat, so staggeringly gaudy. How on earth does he do any serious work surrounded by all that rubbish?
