Really really really well done yoga - I am so jealous as you are where I want to be and good luck with your new target!
Well done everyone and welcome to elderflower1! Keep going girls! (Oops and boys if there are any with us on this thread!)

Yippee! I'm really chuffed! Down to 10st 4lbs which is the weight I wanted to achieve grin My solution this week is all down to our new rescue dog, a very active 18 month (estimated age) who loves lots of walks and keeps me out of the kitchen in the evenings! I've also learnt this week to say "no thank you" to second helpings and cakes. Sbagran last week suggested that you imagine that the food is covered with something really disgusting and this really seems to work with me. Long may it continue.

Think I'll set myself a new target of just under 10st, wish me luck in continuing my success!

This is a thread I have been avoiding for the last few months. When the idea was originally mentioned I put my name down with enthusiasm but have done nothing about it since.

I was on holiday last week where there was a super mirror in my bedroom. I looked about 2 sizes smaller. I loved the mirror but oh would not unscrew it from the wall for me to take home. However I took a photograph of myself and have put it on the front of the fridge to remind myself what 2 sizes less will look like.

Welll done to everyone who has lost weight there are some impressive losses.

May I join you?

Endoscopy, not fun, but as gmg says, it doesn't take long. I opted to do without the sedative as I don't like feeling woozy and had things I wanted to do later in the day. Found it very easy - had a really nice doctor officiating.

Good luck with your little 'procedure' tomorrow Gally. It'll be over before you know it. smile

I lost a dress size recently after a dose of ?enteritis in July (following a meal out in France!). Not a good way to lose weight but it certainly made me want to continue as fitting into clothes comfortably was wonderful. Off for an endoscopy (eeeek) tomorrow so no eating for 24 hours which will be hard for me but may help the cause. Trouble is I do like eating. grin

I'm just following my own way of 'doing' and eating more fruit and veg than biscuits and cakes (which are always my downfall, so I don't know why I do it!). Not much difference on the scales as yet, but expect this to change a bit over the next few days. Doing exercise to loosen hip and help knee, so hopefully will get rambling about more soon and the weight will come off quicker!
Well done Sba and Nsg! smile

Good luck to all - are you all doing different diets. My friend has just lost 1stone on Dukan but it sounds horrible to me a disguided Atkins?

I've lost another 2lbs this week, so slowly but surely getting there. Well done with your really good start Sba! Similar to your diluted lemon juice, a few weeks ago I 'discovered' sugar-free tonic water with a twist of lemon. Only 16 calories in a whole litre bottle, all the supermarkets sell it for about 40p. It's ideal for that time after dinner when you feel the need of a wine glass in your hand!

Morning glass! Morning everyone!
I am delighted to say that 12st 6lbs went down to 12st 3lbs 6oz yesterday morning so I am thrilled with my start. I have been sensible with my eating, been going to bed with Paul McKenna (DH doesn't mind!) and have been walking to work. I think the diluted lemon juice is helping as it has definitely taken away the urge for sweet things. Here's hoping that the next few weeks will remove more!
Good luck EVERYONE! We're all in this together ! smile
