Count me in for the Christmas Countdown!

Following a week of virtuous eating and weight loss, I've been away again and eating normal meals, so this week I've put on 1lb. angry

A great idea Glass to focus on Christmas and as you say, a good weight loss by then would be the best present we could give ourselves! You can do it Glass, you always do well with SW. flowers

Right we are all in the same boat........ so how about a plan its 13 weeks till Christmas how about we start this week and in that time at a 1lb a week that's almost a stone....... 1.5 lb we could loose 19.5 lb...... 2lb a week that's 28lb 2lbs off 2 stone................

What do you all think?

I am rejoining Slimming World tomorrow night and would like to loose 1.5lb a week so 19.5lb would be the best Christmas present I could get!

Hello all the new GN, glad you have come to join us. sunshine

sad - drag the flags in glass or leave them at half-mast! Emoticon doesn't seem to be working - even the flags are sulking!
We all seem to be in the same boat this week as everyone seems to have either put on or not quite lost what has been recently put on sad
Hope you will soon be back to your old self glass - WE NEED YOU!!! flowersflowersflowers
I weighed in at 158.8lbs this week - a gain of just over a pound.
Naturally, I am a bit annoyed but with the Boss' farewell do, daughter's graduation celebration, being forced into quick takeaways two evenings last week and a packed lunch at a training day on Saturday I can't really say I am surprised.
Word of warning - I had to take a packed lunch to a training day on Saturday. I dashed into Tesco last minute on Friday and grabbed a tuna layered salad which had the calorie content on the label as 250 ish (can't remember the exact number). Feeling all angelic I went onto MFP in the evening to see if I could afford a biscuit with my evening drink - entered in the Tuna layered salad and my total went scarlet!!! It recorded the salad as over 500 calories!
Looking at the label again, written in tiny writing up the side of the nutrition list was half of the contents amount to the figures on the nutrition list! ARGHH!!! It was what I would consider a normal salad size container and not splashed with 'serves two' or anything like that! Don't want anyone else falling for that blush
I am back on track this week and will definitely read labels properly blush

Haven't been on GN much for a while, and not on this thread for ages. But have taken courage in hand and am back. I had a bad week last week, comfort food due to a sad happening in family. I have put on three pounds, but am now on WW again , but I find I can ' t do it without the Monday weigh in, so help me keep on track please you lovely GNers .blush

decided to diet as I had to have a comonoscopy and the preperation for that meant I lost 2 kilos. so no a week later I have droped another kilo. So I am determined to loose the 15 more kilos, who knows I am determined as long as I do not get side tracked. OH os sortof going along but I do not keep him as stricktly but it is easier than two meals with the associated temptaion . The Dr would like him to loose between 5 and 10 kilos over the next 6 months

Managed to put 4lbs on in a week, thanks to a weekend in Copenhagen with DD. Off to Crete tomorrow for 2 weeks, and now worrying that I'm half a stone heavier than my clothes allow for! Too late to do anything about it.
