Well I have stayed the same this week which I am pleased with, I was imagining a gain after not eating for a week and losing 3lb. I want another 1 stone 6lbs and I think I will be happy.

move once you get mobile again things will move along.
mrshat well done its only a little bit but every bit counts especially when it gets you to where you want to be. Thats both you and grannyK back to your target.
sba I hope you are feeling better for your induction. flowers

This week 3lb 13 oz

Challenge total 3stone 7lb 5oz

Sbagran Tue 19-Mar-13 19:32:00

Not my idea GrannyK which is how I succumbed last week - all DH's fault! Have been off colour (well positively poorly!) today and hardly eaten a thing. Hope to be back to normal tomorrow though as got my gym induction on Thursday and need to start concentrating! Well done on reaching your target!

mrshat Tue 19-Mar-13 16:18:33

Hurrah! Lost half pound, not much I know, but it gets me to 13 stone. Now I just need to get rid of another stone, or even half stone would be helpful! grin

Sorry all I can't add anything to the score but I haven't put any on either. I have been pretty good but I suppose not being able to even walk far is making it more difficult. Getting physio at last on Monday so maybe that will help. I think waiting a whole month for it is really bad. sad

Well done you losers smile

DH is losing enough for both of us and has started going to the gym again. He is cooking from the Hairy Dieter's book and we are having some good meals. He likes it because it uses ingredients we have rather than lots of stuff you have to go out and find. You don't have to make you own stock etc. Worth a try for anyone struggling.

notso you will get your head together especially when you have June to look forward to.
bez 1/2 is nothing, I always find bread is my failing so I try to keep away as once I start thats it, but watching Paul Hollywood and his new bread programme last night was fatal.
grannyk well done for catching it back smile
galen did you get the bran sorted?
jane well done at getting back to your previous weight.

This week 3lb 6oz

Challenge total 3stone 6lb 12oz

Galen Tue 19-Mar-13 12:16:07

GrannyK Tue 19-Mar-13 11:25:58

Hurrah !

Back down to my target 58 kilos this week . Now just need continue to eat sensibly and not get complacent .Fingers crossed !

(sbagran - don't know how you can manage to have biscuits in the house . I know myself too well to trust myself ! )

Bez Tue 19-Mar-13 07:42:20

Sort of good news for me - only half a pound up and I thought it would be more like two! Back to the diet today - it is not that I eat BAD food but too much GOOD food - portion size is I think my enemy and also bread/ flour products but that is easier to avoid in warmer(!) weather.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Notso Tue 19-Mar-13 07:11:34

Another week of no weight loss I'm afraid. I'm sticking to sensible eating, but the amount of exercise I do needs to step up again. I have a big 'do' coming up in June where I'll be meeting friends and ex-colleagues that I haven't seen for 6 years, and I really want to look good for it!

I can feel an exercise spreadsheet coming on grin

Good luck everyone!

nanaej it good to see you, we all follow different plans, some of us are doing Slimming World, Weight Watchers, calorie counting, 5:2 and a few use My fitness plan you just do what suits you. I put a new thread up ready for a Monday morning and it runs until the following Sunday as we all have different weigh days, you dont need to reveal you weight only your loss or gain. Use the thread to post anything, you can have a moan or a shout of joy if you have done well, post recipes or anything which you think will be useful. But the best thing is the support we give each other. smile

Hi..have decided to join in, if I may, as I must do something about my 2 1/2 stone that I need to shed. Weighed myself on Sunday after a 'careful' week and am into diet mode..so hope to have some success. I will let you know next Monday.

glamma well done another 2lb.... you are going to be so glam for the wedding. smile
sba a pound is a pound and its in the right direction, it sometimes take a little while to focus again after indulging.

Bez I have trip envy grin

Things seem to be on the up this week I have lost another 2lb and have not eaten any biscuits/crisps/crusty bread for 5 weeks so in total 9lb off,I have increased the walking and off to the swimming baths this week, pity you don't live near Sbagran we could go together.smile

Sbagran Mon 18-Mar-13 10:11:55

Bit disappointed but a loss is a loss! I have lost one whole pound!
I do admit to an itsy bitsy bit of sinning on Friday blush when I had been out in town, got soaking wet, was freezing cold and came home to find that the bin men had strewn the contents of our food bin across the driveway and so I had had to clear that up! I was cold, miserable and fed up when I got into the flat and made a pot of tea - trouble was the biscuit box beckoned and I had a serious meeting with some chocolate digestives blush and then a chocolate bar! blush blush
I have signed up at the leisure centre again and hope to do a gym/swim session twice a week which can only be good. I don't have my introductory session until Thursday but it will all help and to be honest I have commitments between now and Thursday anyway.
Never mind, onwards and downwards - good luck to everyone else this week!

Nandalot Mon 18-Mar-13 09:06:59

Also been away at weekend - lots of rich deliciousness. (Also very sedentary as a Bridge weekend!) Weighed before leaving 3 1/4 pounds lost for first week of dieting .. .v. pleased. Today 2 pounds back on so only a small loss in total. But it would have been much worse if I hadn't started dieting!
Hope you all had a good week.

Bez Mon 18-Mar-13 07:56:17

Not too likely in my case as we have been away for the weekend in Bordeaux - going home today - and been out to great restaurants. Will weigh in the morning but HAVE to take this losing weight more seriously as caught sight of my self sideways in a full length mirror!!!!! Enough said.

glassortwo Mon 18-Mar-13 07:46:51

Sorry forgot to put thread up last night, here we go again, hope you have had a better week. smile
