I was too young to do keep fit when the music in the opening post was popular but I can recall racing round the ice rink to it during the ladies speed. I can also remember it was played during the mixed speed which was when you were asked to skate round the rink with a boy who fancied you and who you hopefully fancied as well. The secret was to pretend you were really scared so he'd feel all manly and he'd just have to hold your hand really tight, it also meant he felt six inches taller because he was such a fast skater. If you could blush when pretending to be scared it was even better and meant greater things all round. Truth is - it was hard to be scared when you were a figure skater and used to going fast on your own. But try we did, very hard, because some of those junior ice hockey players were just so worth it. :D
It was all very innocent, really, no hanky panky or the likes, just thrills galore :D
