Would your GP give you a referral to an eating disorders clinic or any councilling service in your area that might help?.

I've just come through a phase of overeating and binge eating, june [I think the warm weather helped]. If you have a mobility problem have you thought of going to see your Dr and asking if you could take Xenical for a while to shift some of the weight? But you can't beat the advice/help/support that you'll get from glass smile!

Hi june I have sent you a Pm message if you go to the top of the page where the Gransnet banner is you will see a log out tab and also an Inbox tab, click on Inbox, and it will take you to your Private messages (sorry if you have been around for a while, you may already know your way around).

I've always struggled to keep my weight down, junesmith11. I'm ok now, but know that I'll always have to work at it. Have you had a wee look at the Diet Thread that glassortwo does for us? She starts a new weigh-in every Monday. No-one has to put own anything about what their weight is, but it's a really good way to try to get the weight off and hear other people's issues about their weight loss. Good luck.

Dear junesmith11 sorry you are sad wish I could offer some advice but I don't know what to say, other than now that you recognise that you have times when your eating is out of control, try and find some healthy distracting activity at that time... Easy to say, I know. [hugs].
