Happy to help, glass wink...

glassortwo Thu 04-Jul-13 21:05:02

tegan I have taken it as I dont think you were putting what you were loosing in previous weeks, counteracts my gain wink

Tegan Thu 04-Jul-13 21:03:42

I'm not sure glass, cause I've been up and down like a yoyo over the past few months.

glassortwo Thu 04-Jul-13 20:59:28

I have gained 3 1/2lb over the last few weeks, I eat when I am stressed... but I am back on plan so hope to get some of that off for next week.
grannyeggs its good to have you back, did you enjoy your holiday?
galen thats not bad at all, you have been really good to resist all that gorgeous food. smile
tegan fantastic result cutting out your late night nibbles and bread is paying off for you, have I claied any of this loss, I cant remember.
mrshat wink yes every little helps.
grannyK its not much of a gain in real terms, but its disheartening when you have worked so hard to get down to your target to find it creeping up again, I would take things back to basics and see what has crept into your eating plan that you have not had while you have been good, and that will be where the damage is coming from.
anno the scales tell the truth well done.
jane you must have been very good to have such a small gain grin
Good loss ginny well done, its a bit of a shock when they allowance goes down, but the upside is you must be dropping your weight for the points to be lowered.

This week - 2lb 10oz
Challenge total 4st 2lb 9oz

I'm back after a month on a boat ,not a cruise, sailing boat. I weighed myself on Monday and I have put on three pounds, which considering all the bread pasta and cake I've eaten, isn't as bad as I thought! Back on track now back on the 5.2 so hopefully will have shed some of it by next week. Nice to be back on Gransnet.sunshine

Well, it was cold where you went and [imo]if you've paid for food you have to eat it. I would've smile.

Galen Wed 03-Jul-13 21:47:04

Quite pleased as I only put on just over 1/2 stone on the cruise!
13.13 1/4!
Back on the dietalsad

Over the past few weeks have gone from 65kg to 61. Seem to have control over my eating again and went to a gym today which I might join [depends how my joints feel over the next few days]. It might be because the weather is so much better and my joints aren't hurting or the dieting I did before my trip to Paris [was desperate to get into my best jeans and not buy new ones]. I do hope I can keep this up. What I have stopped doing is the late at night eating and, although I did buy some cheese last week I haven't eaten much of it and I'm still not eating bread. I was desperate to get back into a lot of my favourite clothes. I'm also doing a few set exercises each night.

Help!
Back up to 59.2 . I know it's not a huge weight and it is only 2 1/lbs above my target of 58 , but having got down to that and been really happy at the beginning of the year I now seem to have spent the last 14 weeks putting it slowly back on again . This is the heaviest I have been all year .
I wouldn't mind so much if I felt I deserved it , but I thought I was finally heading downwards again and have been really good this week AND made it to the Pilates class AND done loads of very active gardening.
Am very depressed!

Have lost 1lb according to both old and new scales.

janeainsworth Mon 01-Jul-13 09:06:33

I've spent the last 2 weeks in the US with the grandchildren - had a lovely time but got no exercise at all, so relieved to find this morning I have only gained 200g, to 63.7kg.
Back on track now and did an hour and a half's vigorous gardening before breakfast!

Checking in early and feeling good. 3 1/2 lbs loss this week. My points allowance has now gone down so that's a new challenge. Onwards and upwards....actually downwards hopefully !
