15th July already, its my eldest Grandaughters 19th birthday tomorrow..... how did that happen. shock
The year is flying past us too, not long till the end of this challenge August Bank holiday, can we make a final push ...... what do you think?

My scales have gone wrong! Honest . I changed the battery a couple of months ago and now they're blank?
Does this mean I have zero weight hmmgrin

Ha ha galen thats a fantastic loss this week, take the batteries out and give them a rub grin might just kick them in again.

Not weighing this week. Have just returned from a lovely week in Cornwall and although I didn't go mad I ate more than I should. Hopefully by next Monday I will have lost anything gained.
Hope you have all had a good week.

I'm on a plateau this week grin

I'm with you in making a final push glass. Meeting up with lots of family in 3 weeks and would like to shift a few pounds by then.

Good luck everyone!

Like ginny I have just come back from a week in Cornwall which was preceded by a few days in Dorset which was preceded by another holiday! Going away again in a couple of weeks so I think I will have to take a break from you all until I come back. Not even going to bother to weigh as there is no point.

Good luck all.

Very disappointed!
I have done HOURS of gardening, been to the Pilates class and been careful about what I was eating all week . I did go out to a Chinese restaurant , but was a cautious as possible- very small portions etc .
In spite of all this have gone back from 59 to 59.2 again. Why ?

I know I know , it is nothing in the grand scheme of things , but it is "nothing" back in the wrong direction
AND
I am being taken out to dinner twice this week , which I was looking forward to being a bit relaxed about . Now there is ABSOLUTELY no wriggle room . This weight is the most I have been all year ( again!)
Bother bother bother !

GrannyK have you been drinking lots of extra liquid because of the weather? If it is water perhaps you are retaining it and if it is something else it could be full of calories?

GrannyK Tue 16-Jul-13 17:53:39

Well actually, no . In fact , I probably don't drink enough in this weather. Wonder if that is a problem in some weird way ?
No time to ponder that now ... Off out to dinner !

Bez Tue 16-Jul-13 17:59:16

I am about the same as last time - drinking loads of water and not running to the loo as often as I would expect to so think I must be retaining some fluid. Disappointed really as I am eating loads of salads, veg and fruit and not much in the line of bread, pasta, potato etc. still nil desperandum and all that.

Managed to lose 300g this week, so down to 63.3kg. still would likje to get down to 61kg eventually though!

I was weighed last Thursday at WW and had lost 1/2lb! I was so disappointed as I've been cooking special WW recipes all week. They say never mind it is a loss.........

Galen Wed 17-Jul-13 13:07:30

Sh! 14stoneblush

Tegan Wed 17-Jul-13 13:13:14

I'm just off to the gym. I may be wrong but I'm thinking that the exercises I'm doing are speeding up my metabolism. Also, not very hungry this weather. I just hope I can keep this up, given that my eating etc just fell apart last winter. Feeling rather cheerful at the moment, and I do do comfort eating. The exercise equipment does take all the strain off your joints; gosh, I'm getting bit evangelical about it blush.

Down another half pound which takes me to 12st 7lb!! This was what I was aiming for by mid August so I am VERY happy. I just hope I can keep losing, or at least stay the same. grin 12 stone would be ideal and if I get there I will go on 'maintenance' wink

glassortwo Fri 19-Jul-13 22:29:00

Oh hello everyone, I have not made it here all week, where has the week gone.... I think I should have taken my bed to school... but never mind we made over £1,000 profit from our Strawberry teas so all the hard work paid off.
I have lost 1lb this week but may have put it all back on this afternoon as one of the Secretary of the PTA decided to end the week and start the holidays with a BBQ with all the little ones, they have been in the paddling pool and generally had a fantastic afternoon/evening.
I will come back and read all your good results tomorrow as I cant see to read them all tonight. grin

Notso Sun 21-Jul-13 21:04:49

Now that's what I call a real incentive to lose weight! grin
