So happy to discover I have lost four OUNCES this week. Yes, I know it may not seem like much, but on Saturday my daughter and I spent a day in London that included lunch at Harrods and afternoon tea in Claridges - both accompanied by champagne. With the diet suspended I was sure I would have at least put on a pound so I'm really quite pleased. smile

Went away for the weekend and thought I'd eaten a lot but find I have lost another pound! Magic! smile

Hello

Can I join you please?

I stepped on the scales this mornng and it was dreadful, I have to do something about this.

I would like to be the weight that I was ten years ago when I thought I was too fat.

Tegan Mon 03-Mar-14 12:42:53

I'm scared to get on the scales again today. Tried on some jeans in M&S yesterday in my usual size and couldn't get them on sad. I'm afraid wearing leggings has caused the problem this winter as I've been overeating and kidding myself that I was getting away with it. And retiring means that I'mnot on my feet for half the day any more.

Tegan Mon 03-Mar-14 12:43:58

Oh dear; got on the scales and the weight has crept up again.

Marelli Mon 03-Mar-14 14:10:40

I'm wavering back and forth - a pound on/off as the weeks go by. Not dieting any more, but watching the portions and hoping that this will help. hmm

At least I got to the gym today. And I'm doing a hips and thighs type diet. Although I've tried not to eat bread over the past few years [with several relapses] I'm going to have porridge for breakfast and then a couple of huge salad and lean meat baps with low fat mayonnaise in the evening. And must cut out the cheese again. And drink more water....

I've lost a pound in the past two weeks.

ginny Tue 04-Mar-14 08:34:49

Stayed the same this week. I did expect it, so not surprised or put off. Be careful with the pancakes ladies !

GrannyK Tue 04-Mar-14 09:31:10

Very disappointed, but probably not surprised. Had two parties this week and although I was very careful , it obviously wasn't careful enough . Have put back on the pound I lost the week before . This means I am back exactly where I started at the beginning of the year again . I really thought I had stopped going round in circles like this . Think it has to do with exercise- or rather lack of it . My energetic bursts of gardening in the fine weather obviously haven't been happening for ages . Attempting not to be too disheartened.....again ! ....
ps Well done giinny for thinking about starting a thread while glass was busy. Have only just seen it or I would have joined you ! Especially since I was feeling quite cheerful last week .

Have lost 2lbs again, so quite pleased but it has been very hard, lots of hunger pains It is SO easy to put on but SO hard to lose!! I find that the later I eat in the morning, the less I eat, as I am effectively cutting out one meal. I am off to stay with some friends next week for a few days, and they like their food so it is going to be difficult again. Well done to rockgran for achieving the "9 stone something," I am very envious as that is my goal also, but it has spurred me on to persevere.

Still at 12st 4.5lbs - will I ever get to 12stone? grin

Im back, been back for a couple of days but have not had chance to come and have a look.

Well I am starting back to SW again on Tuesday, dont dare get on the scales this week after our few days away, but DD is wanting to get rid of the rest of the baby weight before she goes back to work, and I had better get some of with the thought of handling a baby full time again, think I am going to need all my energy. Just had a bacon roll not I feel very fatttt. hmm
granny you have done so well to still lose after such a lovely with DD.
rock well done hope you had a good time.
marion good to have a new face, welcome aboard, yes if we knew 10yrs ago what we know now grin
tegan leggings are so comfortable but ohhh so very dangerous.
marelli portion size can be a perfect way of controlling what you eat, try using a smaller plate but try to be selective in your choices and that will help.
Well done notso smile
ginny well done especially as you were expecting it.
grannyk thats exacley what I have been like since Christmas but now is the time to buckle down, those summer clothes will be creeping out of th wardrobe before we know it.
