Morning everyone, not sure if we are still running with this, sorry I have been light on the ground these last few weeks, hopefully I should be a more regular visitor. grin

Aka Mon 12-May-14 08:02:02

I've stayed the same which is fine, but would still like to shift those last 7lbs. Hope everything is ok Glass ?

Maintaining is great Aka if you know you have pushed things a little smile
Well I have well an truly lost the plot, but I am joining SW AGAIN tomorrow and will have a good week but then I am off for a few days with my two Sistersbut it may just reign me in while I am away. grin
I'm fine thanks Aka just has a difficult time since the baby was born, he hasnt settled very well but he has hit 15 weeks and we seem to have turned the corner, fingers crossed. I had forgotten how time consuming a difficult baby is shock

I've got 7lb to lose as well; was going to go to the gym today and, blow me, my neighbour came round to tell me the drains were blocked so thought I'd better stay home in case anyone needed access to my garden. Busy decorating at the moment, but that doesn't really use up a lot of calories and requires lots of tea breaks. Glad things are on the up, glass.

hi everyone. Can I join you as I need to lose a stone. I am trying (for second time) the 17 Day diet and just on Day 3. No biscuits, cakes, bread, butter, ice creams, chocolate bars for the last three days (you can guess how bad my diet had become!). Am feeling better already! See you next Monday smile

Hi, I'm still here. Yo yo-ing up and down a few pounds due to holiday. Back on the straight and narrow now.

Aka Tue 13-May-14 08:52:57

My weakness is chocolate. At night, when the GC have gone home and I think I 'deserve it' hmm

Mr Aka often stops at a shop on the way back from walking the dogs and buys me a small bar. I keep telling him not to, but when tired and now relaxing it is so very hard to reject a nice bar, so I end up eating it so as not to offend him of course.

Last week I decided to pretend I'd eaten them and instead I'm hoarding them in a drawer upstairs. I've just added up the calories in them .... 2,000. So that's my new 'diet' ..trouble is what do I do with all this hoarded chocolate?

Tegan Tue 13-May-14 12:54:20

I ate a load of cream crackers late last night; I don't buy them..the S.O. leaves them here. Like a lot of things I ignore them for weeks and then one night I'll get an attack of the mucnhies and eat them all. It's like I can't just eat a couple; once I start I just keep eating. Feel lousy today [and also felt quite sick when I went to bed. Just plain stupid; should have just gone outside and binned them.

HAVE TO REPORT that for the very first time in my life being very stressed has caused me to lose weight !
Usually I attack the biscuits and put it on , but I have had work related issues for the past week , and the pounds ( well, 2 at least ! ) have melted away . Things are resolving themselves now, but it has been a real kick start to getting back to sensible eating . Hurrah !

No matter you are losing weight or gaining weight, the use of floor scales, commercial scales and kitchen scales on daily basis is really helpful to have a quick look on our body weight progress, to know more about calories of our food. These all really help us to achieve our goal.

oh dear, I fell by the wayside - again! I made a victoria sponge cake for a family visit and just had to try it! That was my downfall.
MrsHat - snap - I keep saying it too! Once again, the first day is done. I need to make sure we have lots of veg, salads and fruit in the house, and just stick to fish and chicken. No more Magnums this summer!

Nanabelle Mon 09-Jun-14 23:33:06

another "oh dear" as I seem to have posted in the wrong section. I have just realised there is an entry for each new week. Sorry. blush
