glassortwo Fri 04-Jul-14 20:45:48

galen doing well almost back to recruiter weight grin
beewitch glad to see you smile you dont need to reveal your weight, unless you want to we tend to put loss or gain on the thread.
I usually post it on a new thread on a Monday and it runs until a Sunday as we all have different weigh days.
We all follow different plans but use the page in whatever way you need use it as a diary, post recipes etc.
The thread has been a bit flat for a few weeks as most of us have fallen off the wagon.
nanabelle grinhow do you know how I am feeling wink well done 1lb.
grannyK hope you are enjoying the new job as well as the fringe benefits grin
tegan get yourself out with the dog NOW grin hope you enjoyed your break.

Right the Christening is booked for September so I start again Tuesday and this time I WILL NOT fall off the wagon, I havent got time grin so watch this space.

I never eat breakfast so I find it hard to eat it; when I do [as I did at the B&B] I just seem to carry on eating throughout the day. All I could think in the evening as I ate my pub meal was 'I'll be eating again in a few hours'. Then there were the sweets and toffees in our room, which resulted in me losing a filling [I never eat sweets except for when I go to the cinema and have a tickly cough]. I'm afraid that holidays seem to be bad for my health sad.

Ah Tegan - I believe that if you stay in a b and b, you should enjoy the wonderful full English breakfast they offer! Good luck for the coming week.

GrannyK you are so right - but I just need to get myself out there! (And shut the lid on the laptop!)

4 days staying B&B and eating pub food at night has wreaked havoc with the few pounds I had managed to lose. I even hoped the dentist today would numb me up so I couldn't eat but, alas it was a straight forward filling with no drilling involved. Haven't got to the gym since I got back as I'm still unpacking and my membership runs out soon. Tried on a skirt in a shop this morning and the sight of my thighs in the mirror made me crave chocolate to cheer myself up [it's where all of my weight goes]. The dog needs a walk and what am I doing but playing around on the pooter blush.

Just posting to be encouraging and to extol the virtue of walking.
In my new job ,I have a 15 minute walk at the other end from the station to the theatre and anywhere between 2-15 minute walk down to the station this end ( depends where I start from).
I cannot tell you what a difference it has made to how I feel and what I weigh.

Totally recommend it . Especially if like I have , you have really reached those last 2-3 pounds and they just won't shift !

BeeWitch Tue 01-Jul-14 18:23:15

Nanabelle thank you. I have just bought some fennel tea to try as a change from green tea. brew

Nanabelle Tue 01-Jul-14 08:08:15

Tuesday - just 1 lb gone this week, but as SW says -but off than on! (I have used SW before and found it a good healthy way to eat but I just love chocolate cakes biscuits magnums etc so put the weight back on sadly.)

BeeWitch I am same height as you - it does help as tall people don't show the weight as much. I would like to get to about 10 st 10 lbs - or at least under 11 st. Then keep an eye and take action if I go over 11.
Good luck and don't forget to drink plenty of water!

BeeWitch Mon 30-Jun-14 17:41:00

Great stuff - so, this morning I was 13.0. Oh deary me .... hmm ... 5'8" tall, so am about 24lbs over.

Nanabelle Mon 30-Jun-14 16:47:25

I didn't dare weigh in this morning as we had family over the weekend which involved BBQ, wine and cake! Having a very healthy day today so will brave the scales tomorrow!
Welcome Beewitch - that was how I thought too!
Galen - I like top recruiter!

BeeWitch Mon 30-Jun-14 14:42:45

Can anyone join in this, ladies? I would like to lose a few pounds myself, and would be more motivated to do so if I had to post.

Galen Mon 30-Jun-14 10:56:21
