I have lost 2lb giving me a total of 7lb towards the stone, so half way there. I would like off for the Christening in 4 weeks.

Not sure how long you're contagious for; I know whenever I had a norovirus I had to stay off work for fear of passing it on to the patients.

sad #fingerscrossed

Son had it when he was here at weekend. sad

Supposed to be going Prague on plane on Friday. There's gonna have to be a miracle. Feel awful.

Ana Wed 13-Aug-14 17:22:00

Probably all those cherries, jing! Hope you feel better soon. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 13-Aug-14 16:45:09

As I was poorly on and off all last night, my weight loss would probably be good. But no energy or inclination to step on the scales. sad

mrshat Wed 13-Aug-14 15:08:25

Still 12st 4lb. I need to do something drastic to start shifting pounds. I really do need to get to 12 stone - I should have been there by January last!! hmm

Nanabelle Mon 11-Aug-14 23:56:02

Well, I haven't dared go on the scales today! More visitors and my naughty daughter left an opened bag of maltesers and also choc drops in the fridge. Guess what - they are there no longer! I have very little will power when actually faced with open chocolate.
Congratulations on all of you who have lost some pounds this week and yes, it is a matter of really sticking to healthy eating and getting out there exercising (not so easy with visitors I am finding).
I have just been given a spiralizer which turns veg like courgette into pasta strings so hope it will encourage me to return to more veggie eating.
See you all next week and maybe I will be back where I was last Monday! wink

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 11-Aug-14 18:51:16

Yes. I have been practically living on cherries.

DD cooking dinner tonight. It smells good. Which doesn't bode well for diet.

chloe1984 Mon 11-Aug-14 14:56:22

Oh yes I can really identify with weeing for England when I am dieting not sure sure why but normally put it down to all the salad , no carbs and loads of fruit.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 11-Aug-14 14:26:48

I have been on two weeks' holiday - one of them in France. (loads French bread, croissants, butter and cheese - yum). When I weighed I seemed to have put about four pounds on!

BUT, a couple of days' dieting - and weeing for England (sorry if tmi) - I am back where I was before hol. It must have been all water! confused

Now 10 st 4. (was 10st 11 and three quarters)

I want to be 9 and a half.

(does anyone else find that they wee a lot when dieting? confused)

Marelli Mon 11-Aug-14 10:05:33

Another pound off, making 6lb in all - it's taking ages! As Notso commented, it goes on faster when you're not keeping an eye on it.
11st 10lb at present.....at this rate, in about 3 years, I should be about 11st, which is my personal target grin

Tegan Mon 11-Aug-14 09:45:27

The weight is still coming down but I have to say it is very hard work and it's only happening because I've devoted a couple of weeks to diet and exercise. It must be easy for 'celebs' to lose weight with their own gyms, personal trainers and people to do their cooking/housework but for normal people real life tends to get in the way. I've got till Saturday to lose a bit more, after that it's a case of trying to keep the weight off when I'm away [which is always when it creeps back up again]. Now off to the gym and sauna.

Notso Mon 11-Aug-14 09:17:09

I've lost 2lbs since last week....thank goodness!

Weight gain is so insidious...a few pounds here and there and before you know it, you've put a stone back on. Or even two blush

Time to focus smile

Good luck everyone!

(I'm off to meet up with friends at Costas, but from now on, green tea instead of mocha latte!)

whitewave Mon 11-Aug-14 08:41:56

glassortwo Mon 11-Aug-14 08:39:17
