It is those scales, they have a bad effect on you. Ditch them and rely on a tape measure, or some nice garment that fits you a tiny bit too well.

Was very careful about what I ate when I was away and seemed to be losing weight on the scales up there; therefore expected to have lost a few pounds when I got on the scales back home. Shock horror; have put weight on as well as a couple of inches. Now, and this is the weird thing; I was feeling really slim but the minute I got on the the scales tonight I felt completely different. Not only that but I'm fighting with the urge to eat some of the Mr Kipling fruit pies that are in the cuppboard. It just goes to show how physchological [sp]dieting is. Also a lot of the energy I've had recently has just drained from me sad.

Galen grin - enjoy your bathroom again!
I had a house full too which meant far too much eating and drinking, so weighing in next week! I'm with Notso in the weight gain this week!
Marilli well done. Am envy!

One pound off. smile Sounds like we're all in the right frame of mind (no despairing groans, anyway)!

I'll weigh in tomorrow. Now darling daughter and DGDs have gone, I can get back into the bathroom again.

Just checking in to encourage myself ( and anyone else ! )

Have obviously put weight back on after my episode of food poisoning , but it seems to be a fairly sensible gain and it still leaves me close to my " goal" weight .
I have another month of the job which involves a healthy walk at either end of the train journey there and back , so I am hoping I will have a decent loss in weight and gain in fitness to show at the end of it and that I haven't sabotaged things too much because of late night munchies when I finally get home ......

Best of luck to everyone else too

I had a lovely Bank Holiday and eased off the diet a bit. On one day I had a hog roast in a big bun...ate the meat but not the bread. On another day I had a normal roast dinner and very small portion of cheesecake.

As a result, I've put on 2lbs.

If only they could identify and replicate the 'eat what you like and stay the same weight' gene that so many people are fortunate enough to possess.

Hey ho....back on track again smile

Good luck everyone!

Good morning. sunshine
Have you all had a good Bank Holiday, ohh thats the last one over and done with. Just over a week left of the school holidays (if your not in Scotland) and then its back into routine again.
Hope you all had a good week last week while I was away.
