I've decided to try to do the 10,000 steps a day - which, very simple, pedometer would you recommend?

Tanita PD724 3 Axes Pedometer

It's not the cheapest (£21.44 Amazon) but it's the best I've ever had (and I've tried a few) Idiot proof.

PS don't worry if you don't achieve 10,000 each and every day, but I've upped my steps from an average of 5000 to 6000 to 7000, though there are days when I do very much better and worse!

Definitely walking more though.

Good question! I have struggled with an old Weightwatchers one which I simply do not understand so idiot proof is much appreciated!smile

I have tried really cheap ones! Do not bother. It makes far more sense to buy a good quality model in the first place.
