Treadmills, which one to buy?

I just wouldn't - I'd go for a walk. everything I read recommends a brisk walk a few times a week.

Teetime thanks for getting back, its good advice you have given, the snag is I live in The Outer Hebrides, in the winter it doesn't work to go walking, I live on a single track road, with cars and lorries speedy on it, and its very windy.

I'm looking for a motorised treadmill too. Hope there are some treadmill savvy grandnetters reading this.

newist now you have made me very jealous what a beautiful , if chilly, place that must be!!- how about an exercise DVD instead - cheaper and more fun.

No treadmill here but my exercise bike is a Domyos from Decathlon. Had it a few years now and it's good. treadmills here at varied prices I think I might go for the Domyos Soft Walk.

Thanks for that jinglbellsfrocks. We've got a Decathlon in town and I think I'll go and have a look at the treadmills.

You could get a Wii fit to go on the TV, they have lots of fun exercises including jogging.

Thanks for all the great advice, the thing is I have just been on holiday and I found that because I don't walk much, we don't have pavements here, my legs and feet felt as though they would fall off, just shopping
