Thank you and good luck to all this week - I'm on the first 2 day this week (of 5:2) and trying for a bit of golf but we have light snow - we'll see!

You can add it to my 1/2 pound grannyK but as you say its off wink
Had you just had a cup of tea before you got weighed marelli good idea to stay away from Dh chocs wink
Well done anya welcome aboard.
teetime you have done so well over one of the most difficult periods for someone trying to eat healthy with some much temptation around. 1lb is a good steady loss, well done.
nfk 5.2 seems to suit lots of people, welcome aboard.

OK, I am not going to be downhearted about the little 1/2 lb that disappeared this week .
It didn't go up .
It didn't even just stay the same
1/2 lb is better than nothing
Will be more careful this week....
This is being positive !

It should do, Anya. I ate SO MUCH chocolate over the festive season blush! I'll be alright now, though, because the only choc left is DH's and I won't touch that (I won't glass, honestly.....not even his 'Misfits')! grin

Teetime if you keep that up that'd be 52lb by this time next year shock

Anya Tue 13-Jan-15 13:24:01

Marelli I've just discovered the bar code scan on my mobile for MyFitnesPal so that should guarantee a correct count shouldn't it? Good luck to you too

Please can I join you? Today I started the 5:2 diet. Being a Constant Craver I'm finding just the thought of not being able to eat makes me hungry. I tried 5:2 once before but didn't make it past lunch time so here goes - now off to make carrot soup for lunch!

(Is it ok to have a small beans on toast for tea? Last nights programme said no bread whatsoever but the online 5:2 diet lists beans on a small wholemeal toast as being ok)

1lb off - bit disappointed but onward and downward I hope smile

Weigh in at slimming world tonight. Am about 12lbs lighter than at the beginning of December but another 14 lbs to go!!

Marelli Mon 12-Jan-15 08:40:18

I think so, Anya. If I'm not sure, I double-check with a wee calorie book I have. I do like myfitnesspal, though, because it subtracts the calories as I go along - something I might not be too careful with, myself! Good luck!

I'd like to join in this thread. I've managed to lose the Christmas weight plus another 1lb and determined to shift another 10lb.

Marelli I'm using MyFitnessPal, but some of the information is wrong so I am very careful what I actually use.

Marelli Mon 12-Jan-15 08:11:14

I'd only put on a pound over Christmas, glass - but when I weighed myself this morning I seem to have put on two pounds this week shock - and this was me back on calorie counting to get rid of the pound! Something wrong somewhere...sad.

Good morning all, here you go 1st thread of the New Year, hope the little break has given you all time to get rid of all the tempting things still lying around.
Right off to get the children ready for school, see you later hopefully.
