How much weight have you gained since your wedding day?
I married in 1966 weighing 9 stone.
Now, 49 years later I weigh 10 stone 7lbs.
Does anyone weigh the same as on their wedding day?

Snort!!! Chance would be a fine thing!! About 8 stone on my wedding day (45 years ago on Saturday!!!) and I'd rather not say nowblush

Whats more to the point is how much weight have I gained, lost, gained, lost ad infinitum? Went from 7.3 up to 10.7 plus with a lot of ups and downs in between [and that's not including being pregnant either].

8 stone then, 10 stone now, 38 years on. And thanks to the clothes industry trying to make us feel better about our expanding figures, I'm the same size 10 as I was then! grin

Yes, I weigh the same as I did on both my wedding days in 1978 and 1998. I can still wear both wedding dresses, should I want to, but not at the same time.

Ha ven"t a clue what I weighed when I got married but a lot less than I weigh now.

I am about the same but I was 6 months pregnant when I got married.

Tegan I agree, ups and downs in between probably for many of us.

Maggiemaybe - Yes, my size 14s then (I still have a few of them) are now a very loose size 12.

I am at least a stone heavier than when I got married.

I also know, because I tried a couple of years ago, that I dont have a hope of fitting into my wedding dress.

Congratulations Alea by the way.

I was a size 10/12 when I married, and thought I was fat then! I am now a 14/16 blush
My wedding dress was altered for the dressing-up box at DDs' playgroup. I am not sentimental, never wanted to treasure it.

Not a hope! I was 7st 6llbs when we married. I am now, forty nine years later, a shade under 10 stone, trying desperately not to become a shade over 10 stone.

8 stone 2 on wedding day. 9 stone 7 and rising, now. I really don't want to get heavier again, but holidays are coming up. I've got to be strong. #nochance
