NO I haven't but if I could ever have tap danced I would do it again its great exercise and keeps your legs nice and firm. DH played piano as a child and wishes he had kept it up. I have tried to persuade him many time to take it up again but he says its too late and he wasn't very good anyway. I would if I were him. I never had any lessons as a child for anything just sang in the church choir but sadly the voice has gone now so I cant really do that again.

Knitting. My mother was a great knitter. Unfortunately, as her only daughter, I must have been a deep disappointment to her in this department. Couldn't do it for toffee - perhaps some of the difficulty was she was right handed and /I am left handed, - I just never got it and my work was always full of holes.

However, when I was anticipating my first baby I was determined to have a go at producing an outfit for them. I made a very 'wobbily' stripy blue and white matinee jacket. Ah the sense of achievement - but it tended to be worn on the home front - not worthy of showing off in public. I made a minty green jumper for baby number 2 - and gave up after that so number 3 and 4 simply inherited these first dubious efforts.

Re new GS ... I have commissioned a very good knitter. I know my limits smile.

What I meant really was, has anyone else revisited anything from their past which they hated doing as a child, like dancing lessons etc?

I used to tap dance as a kid. I hated it. I couldn't wait to finish the lesson. I did pass my grades though.

I have found some red sparkly tap shoes online. Should I buy some?

I do need to move more to loose this weight and if I did a little tap at home, then I can stop when I want to (probably after a few seconds!). I would tap dance in the kitchen but I'll keep falling in the sink! Boom boom! (I'm here all week, lol.) grin
