Well in the winter i wear a German walking shoe that has gortex total water proofing.

In really wet walking i wear short wellingtons.
Summer is a walking sandal, but i also wear a German enclosed sandal if that makes sense.

Having a senior moment so cant remember the name and too lazy to look, but if you are interested i will shifty my bum and get the name for you

I use Skechers gowalk shoes they have memory foam lining which is so comfortable, they do lots of different styles I buy the slip on ones mostly but they also do sandals and trainers. OH used to complain all the time about painful feet when walking but since he also bought Skechers shoes he hasn't complained.

I am looking for suggestions. I have a pair of great boots for autumn/winter dog walks, but need ideas for something to wear in the warmer weather. I am not talking about multi mile hikes, just something to put on when going out with the dog, around the village, on pavements mainly, for around an hour. I am finding it gets uncomfortable to wear sandals for this as I stride along with the dog and try to get a bit of a sweat up ( me and the dog!) in an effort to make the walk a bit aerobic. The problem is I dislike trainers unless worn in a gym. Anyone give me recommendations?
