Comfy low wellies?

I can recommend these, OutiC. I have large feet and plantar fasciitis so have to wear orthotic insoles but there is plenty of room for those.

They're very comfortable.

I bought myself some new ankle wellies from a posh garden centre when in Yorkshire in August . £35 they were and I love them . Jane Austen is the brand. Elasticated gussets and I love them.so comfy

If you cant find low wellies do as i did and cut some high ones down. I used scissors. Alternatively i get my walking trainers in aldi for less than £ 15 and they are always very comfy, and for you merlot gran probably better than wellies. I had fascitis too so know how painful it is. Happy to say it did eventually get better.

Similar feet, and I have never been able to walk comfortably in wellies. Proper walking boots are a very worthwhile investment for me.

Nannarose, I know exactly what you mean. It's just such a pity when they get wet and muddy. I'd like to be able to go out there and not worry about getting dirty.

Wellies are fine so long as you have insoles that give arch support and socks that won't slide down.

I wear either wellies or boots for gardening but the problem with boots is you can't kick them off easily when you want to nip indoors to make a cuppa or go to the loo.

I know these would be useless for the purpose you describe but I have just bought these welly clogs from Joules for going out into the garden on dog poo patrol. Even on dry days the grass is still wet and I am sick of either struggling into proper wellies or bringing mud and grass back into the house.
They are also incredibly comfortable!

Thank you for the useful recommendations! I ended up ordering a pair of low wellies from Mountain Warehouse for £19.99 (free delivery on Amazon). They had excellent reviews and not expensive either in case they're not quite what I was after.
