Having had virtually no exercise during the four months I've been ill I've been avoiding the scales. I finally plucked up the courage to face them on Sunday after returning from a week away and oh! my! gosh! I have put on soooo much weight!!!
As of yesterday I have begun the 16:8, 5:2, LCHF diet! I managed the LCHF diet for a year with fantastic results, but was seduced on my NZ holiday into eating savoury muffins and the slide into carbs became an avalanche. Add four months of enforced rest and the weight has piled on. I've bought myself a new Fitbit and am ready to conquer the belly flab with less food and more exercise. I shall let you know how I get on.
