I’m wanting to get active again so I’m training for my local Parkrun. I can walk 5k but want to jog all the way does anybody fancy starting this with me?
Today is 1 min jog, 2 min walk x 10 times each one. Warm up with 5 min walk and cool down 5 minute walk.
Report back on how you felt,.

It starts at 9 on a Saturday in Bushy park, which is where it began. It's too early for me! My last dog found it terrifying , I had to walk her on the other side of the park. There are about 500 people doing it.

Yes, I'm up for it. It was my ambition to do a Parkrun before my 66th. birthday, then my 67th. but life got in the way. Now I'd like to do one before I hit my 68th. in August. However, I'm training indoors at the moment, in the gym, as it's slippy underfoot and I find it harder in the cold and wind especially.

They have that in our town, great idea, .....are you doing the C25K for your training from the nhs choices?... ..it reads very similar. I started that this past week, week one is now out the way.
