I know it's a strange title for a post, but...
Since the beginning of March, I have reduced portion sizes and cut out sugar. It sounds rather saintly, but having trouble with facial neuralgia means sugar is unbearable on my teeth.
So to take my mind off sugar cravings, I started crocheting blankets for Cats Protection. Cravings have gone, so has ,22lbs, and I've made 5 blankets so far!
I'm sure there is an equation there somewhere.

I took up knitting again years ago, partly because I had DGC and partly to stop the evening munchie cravings!

Well done on both counts, Santana
22lbs since March? Excellent.

I can kind of crochet ( basic) but it doesn't seem to help me to lose weight!!

I'm hoping 10 cat blankets might equal 44lbs!

I started browsing the internet because I wanted to stop smoking. The computer was in an upstairs room and I didn’t smoke upstairs. It did replace one addiction with another but it is a lot cheaper and healthier. I need to do something to stop late night munchies, though.

Santana
I've crocheted several blankets during lockdown (not for cats) but seem to have put on half a stone.

Where am I going wrong?
Ps I don't take sugar

Santana facial neuralgia is the pits, I know, what pain! It does go eventually in my experience.

Are you sure you don’t have any holes in your teeth or exposed nerves.

I found that it I took a strong painkiller the moment I felt a twinge it helped.

Best of luck.
