I can’t read it and if I enlargen the page it goes blurry

Excellent!

I overheard a young lad in Tesco Express today excitedly telling his friend he'd got a grade 9 in one subject.

I wasn't quite so chuffed when I saw I'd got grade 9 in Biology back in the day! grin

They have reversed the number order now. A grade 9 is excellent, a 1 is bad

I read it on my Ipad by just tapping on the photo, on screen, which then appears on it's own, and large enough to read.

Trueish. I left school with one O Level. Now have an MA. Had to work 4 jobs (including a night job, stacking shelves in a supermarket) to get there though. Obviously worth it in the end.

BUT it is a lot harder now. I wouldn't want to be a 16 year old now with the prospects I had then.

Screenshot it. Then save to photos and open then you can enlarge without blurring....

A grade 9 is above A*, so the young lad had every right to be thrilled, Maggiemaybe.
Things have changed.!
