Pilates is my "go to" ...started it a couple of years ago after a bad fall which damaged my back. It certainly helps the on-going back problem but it also deals with any stiffness, and I think helps my flexibility. It might help with "workout" stiffness too.
I went off to Iceland this morning...gave up queuing in a pretty short queue of 10 after an argument broke out between 3 queuers who each thought they should be in front of each other!! Popped into Tesco Express and got what my neighbour needed there instead.
