Although there was a post a few weeks earlier about not being keen on m/s lots of people including me love their food am I right or am I wrong

Neither, Nonu! It depends entirely on your preferences!

I think of it as a big deli (for treats maybe) and flower shop rather than a normal food shop.
I get tetchy with them because of the amount of gratuitous packaging they use, so try to avoid. Aluminium trays for instance.

idon"t buy a terrific amount from from m.s. as we find it a little pricy but as we live right in the town centre , we regard it as our corner shop !!!!!!!!

My DH loves it and resorts to it when I am away, or when he is in charge of catering for his mum.

When they opened an out-of-town M&S on my route home from work, I became hooked on their sticky toffee puddings and lemon sponge puddings, sold in pairs. It did my weight no good at all. Luckily for me, I was made redundant confused, so no longer passed the store every day. It's an ill wind....

I think that one good reason why we like M&S food is that, although it's a bit more expensive, we are under the impression that it is of good quality. The question to ask though - is it!! I can't say that I've ever done a diagnostic job on their labels.

I do buy a lot of my fruit and veg. at M&S, and their food is good, but the ready meals, good though they are, are calorie laden! So if I buy anything like that, it's from the Count on Us range. And before you lot all leap in about the joys of cooking, (with which I agree) remember Thesues and I are one vegetarian and one carnivore, and occasionally it's an easy option! smile
