I love them too, but only when they're a bit green - as soon as speckles start appearing I leave them for DH, who likes them overripe (good system!)

Unless you have a serious endocrinology disease e.g. renal failure or diabetes, you don't have to worry about eating a lot of bananas.

I go through phases with bananas - usually associate them with dieting! (low-fat yoghurt and banana) shudder at the thought)

Personally I think bananas are disgusting, but I know loads of people who eat one every day (and have done for years) with no ill effect!

I eat, I'd guess, 5-8 bananas a week. I love them, they're very cheap, convenient and filling plus Slimming World tell me they're not fattening.

Someone said to me "You'll get potassium poisoning"! Is there such a thing? If Yes, how many is too many bananas? smile
