I have just 'invented' caramelised carrot and coriander soup. In other words, it managed to boil dry but wasn't quite burnt to a cinder. I topped it up with more stock and whizzed it with the hand blender. Doesn't taste too bad... grin blush

You are supposed to say something more than "I am bored", Gillybob or at any rate you did the last time I played (about 18 months ago at least)

Was it two years, Jings? How time flies.

Sorry, we are not supposed to refer back to other threads. I shall post that on the other one.

Sara4 only just seen your query. I've got a cuisanart and I swear by it!
Come Sunday, throw any scraggy left in fridge veg, left over veg from lunch, put in stock cube and water turn on! Come back when cooked and liquidisers the mixture! Et voila- soup!

I love stilton and broccoli soup [although slilton gives me nightmares]. Will try that recipe smile. I nearly bought a soup maker not long ago but reckoned I didn't make enough soup to justify it; may have a rethink [may have to go and buy some ready made stilton and broccoli soup now as it's got me thinking about it...going to park at Tescos in a while..
