I've just invented a new zing drink. Well, it probably isn't new at all, but hey.
I'm making a berry soufflé but it was taking ages to boil down the frozen rasps and blackberries so I just poured them into a sieve and let the juice run out.
Then, while the soufflé was cooking I whipped up some double cream to have with it. There was some cream left so I wondered, and experimented: a wee dash of concentrated berry juice (no added sugar) in a shot glass and topped up with runny double cream is Zingtastic and smackeroo delicious
Jingle's away so she can't tell me off about the cream.
Time to check the soufflé.
