I found an on-line tutorial yesterday and made a successful batch for my neighbour, a vet who has had to end the life of her elderly cat who has been terminally ill for some months. I discovered that I hadn't beaten the egg whites for at least 10 minutes, nor mixed the other ingredients in for long enough for the glossy finish. I made half the recipe, so only tasted a couple, but confident for future efforts.
