I should have done this tomorrow. only one measure of 4 oz of cornflour. No idea where the 2 came from. SORRY

Oh bummer, I should have said, I put the bowl in the sink then sieve.
I grind the seeds in a pestle and mortar.
Blame a couple of glasses of wine for bits left out!!!!

Why two lots of corn flour?

You must make sure the sink is completely dry first Galen grin

I'm making apple shortbread tomorrow but I think I'll try this too. Thanks Grandmanorm

Wouldn't it be better to use a bowl? Surely getting it out of the sink is messy?confused

Is. It the seeds you grind? Surely not the pods?

8 ozs plain flour
4 ozs cornflour
8 ozs butter
2 ozs castor sugar
2 ozs cornflour
2 ozs icing sugar
12 green cardamoms (take seeds out and then grind)

Beat all together till smooth then chill in fridge for 15 minutes.
make whatever shapes you wish.
Bake at 180C for 10 to 12 minutes.

This recipe comes from the web site, Carol's My Dish. It is not my own, but I love it.
I sift the icing sugar and cornflour in the sink and it saves a mess!!!!
