Yes. You couldn't really take grandad to Pizza Hut for his birthday meal Gaga. 
It was lovely iam, and only just over the fifty quid, with the drinks, for six of us. (They counted the nearly 14 year old as a child! 
) We got puddings from M and S as didn't fancy PH's puds.
It's DH's birthday today and we shall be having a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings. DD is bringing a cake she has made for him. I'm told it is a fatless sponge with strawberries (and cream for those who want it). She is a dab hand at cakes and it is made with love so will taste twice as nice!
Ours was just the family glamma. He had his party last week when I was away. Had a lovely day though, even in somewhere as noisy as Pizza Hut. Mind you, their lunchtime deal is fantastic. Eat as much pizza, pasta, breadsticks, and salad as you can stuff in and still walk like for £6.99 a head. Was delicicious. Must avoid the scales this morning,

I'm here! I have been stuffing face celebrating DGS's birthday with Pizza Hut fare, and chocolate cake. Digestive system holding up well so far.
It wouldn't have crossed my mind not to eat it. It would have had to have brown lumps on it and be crawling across the floor before I would have chucked it.
I blame the bacon!

It was slightly incinerated. To kill the bugs donchaknow. One of those dinners you finish up eating with your fingers. But still....
Oh, it's all gone! 
It does look delicious. It is parsnips with bacon, mushrooms, chestnuts, dried cranberries, onion, garlic and breadcrumbs. Gratined in oven.
