Why do oxo cubes always get sticky these days?

I keep thinking we must have a serious damp problem because the oxo cubes always end up sticky and uncrumble-able. But now a new pack, only had it for a couple of weeks, is already showing signs of stickiness. Has the recipe been changed? They never used to be like this. Has anyone else noticed it?

The x oxo cubes are ment to be crushed inside the packet and then opened that's why there mp harder to crush outside of the packet z

I've never heard that Meganwebber. Their adverts featuring Lynda Bellingham always showed her crushing a bare, unwrapped Oxo cube.

It's because:
a) the firm is rebranding the product hmm (usually a fib)
b) there is no demand for it confused - but nobody asked me! I am demanding it.

Jalima I too am demanding it. I don't know what I'd do without Oxo cubes, haha!

I have no problem with my cubes, but I store them in an ancient Oxo tin, which is airtight.
I think they have changed the shape so that they can get away with each cube containing less material than before!

They're too strong for me, I like Knorr stock cubes or Kallo.
Or make stock from a chicken carcase.

Have actually started buying the stock pots.
