Never heard of spirulina, I just want seeds I won't be buying anything else.

By the way, if you go to Holland and Barrett, do not buy spirulina as well.
You have been warned by both Tegan and me.

Thanks both of you I do go to Lidl occasionally so can look there and I'll take a look in the Holland and Barrett too, thankyou. I thought washing them was a bit OTT..

I eat them all the time and have never thought about washing and drying them.
I buy lots from Holland and Barrett; mixed omega 3 packs which include pumpkin, sunflower, and linseeds.
Sunflower and sesame are best for cooking. I use them in stir-fries to give crunch.
Pumpkin seeds can burn, so if you are using them in cooked food, cook first, then stir in the seeds off the heat.

I don't think you need to wash them if they are in a packet. Aldi did do cheap nuts and seeds. Very good for you.

I already eat seeded granary bread but think more seeds in my diet can only be good, but what to eat/buy?
I just find the whole thing confusing so any tips for what seeds I should be eating/buying? I'm thinking of sprinkling on my salad, stews, maybe porridge in the mornings.
Then I read something about washing them and then drying them again before using so is it safe to just buy and use? I thought I'd just buy a mixed pack and start from there but there are so many different choices I'd be grateful if someone points me in the right direction.
