Hi everyone. We just purchased a couple of ceramic frying pans at a reasonable price. I have read a bit about them and wonder if others have used them and what they think of them?
I read that they emit fewer toxins than teflon-coated pans but the surface may become non non-stick quicker than with the teflon varieties.
Some users argue that much depends on how you clean the pans and that this can impact on their life span. Others say that you should cook on a low or medium heat and avoid using oil.
I have heard that white vinegar or bicarb of soda are good products to use in cleaning the pans.
I was hoping I could wash the pans in the dishwasher but there are indications that dishwasher tablets contain bleaches that may damage the ceramic/non-stick surface.
Any contributions from experienced users would be much appreciated, as would opinions or advice!
