I bought two at TKMax, great value and good to cook with. As has already been said, don't let the pan get too hot and don't put them in the dishwasher. I've had mine for almost a year and find them great to cop with and easy to clean.

I bought some cheap ones and the ceramic coating was too thin and soon food began to stick. I then bought a couple from John Lewis (own brand - online) they were more expensive but I have had them for almost a year and they clean up easily and nothing ever sticks.

Had mine a few months and always been careful with it but it's now useless. I cooked a rasher of bacon in it today and it stuck to the pan. Last week tried an omelette but again it stuck and burnt. It's the well known pan costing £14.99 so not happy btw it never browned food either.

I don't like mine either because the food doesn't brown!

I've got one and i hate it. It will only work on one ring of my induction hob and everything i cook in it takes ages. It was a waste of money.

I've had a small one for about 9 months and it was doing well until recently when I did a batch of pancakes in it. I never have the heat up high, but the prolonged cooking time seemed to take its toll and the pancakes started sticking. I had the devil's own job to get it clean afterwards, and no doubt it is no longer non-stick.

I bought one at TKMax and haven't had any problems. I just put some hot soapy water into it as soon as I have finished cooking and wash it by hand later.

I've found that I definitely have to use lower heat. Have had mine for a few months and am really pleased with it. It's one of the traditional makes, so I'm not sure how good the cheaper ones are - though having said that, I've had plenty of cheaper items that have been just as good, if not better! TKMax is good for kitchenware at reasonable prices.

I got a very cheap one in Aldi, knowing that if it didn't work out, I wouldn't have wasted much cash. So far, so good. I use my Lakeland Wash-up-Wiz, a scourer which doesn't scratch.

Afraid we failed dismally with ours. Followed the instructions, cleaned and used carefully but things stuck dreadfully. May have been the particular pan we chose but I suspect operator error in there somewhere!

They are excellent but don't overheat and don't put in dishwasher!

Hi everyone. We just purchased a couple of ceramic frying pans at a reasonable price. I have read a bit about them and wonder if others have used them and what they think of them?
I read that they emit fewer toxins than teflon-coated pans but the surface may become non non-stick quicker than with the teflon varieties.
Some users argue that much depends on how you clean the pans and that this can impact on their life span. Others say that you should cook on a low or medium heat and avoid using oil.
I have heard that white vinegar or bicarb of soda are good products to use in cleaning the pans.
I was hoping I could wash the pans in the dishwasher but there are indications that dishwasher tablets contain bleaches that may damage the ceramic/non-stick surface.
Any contributions from experienced users would be much appreciated, as would opinions or advice!
