Sadly grandson in now 10 and the specialists think he won't grow out of this terrible egg allergy now- he should have done by the age of 7. Such a worry as he will be going on to secondary school next year- and will have to be in a mcuh less protected environment and have to carry his epipen and antihistamines himself all the time and have to make a decision as to calling help or not. A worrying time- especially as so many people now do not take real life-threatening allergies seriously, as so many say they are 'allergic' to this, that and the other
