Nigella....at my table

I will try to find the pea and chicken recipe, must have a look at the picture!!

it doesn't look very appetitising, like sand islands in a choppy green sea, or some kind of creatures stranded in a green field

There are a lot of peas there Jalima! That should give you your 5 a day for a week!

I absolutely love peas and could quite happily eat them every day. One of my guilty secrets is that I eat frozen peas straight from the packet and let them defrost in my mouth .

You'd love this recipe then, gilly. We had pea soup yesterday.

I might try the carrot cake that was featured last night with GF flour. It didn't look too sickly sweet.

Any idea where I might find that recipe merlot ?

I absolutely love Pea soup ( with a touch of mint ) yummy !

You can find episode 1 on BBC iPlayer, gilly but I warn you the peas do have a rather overcooked taste and texture.

Merlotgran, the carrot cake caught my eye too. I like that it's a single layer of both cake and icing. Well, my hips do!

I like frozen peas too gillybob ( not a whole helping at once, just a few from the packet when I'm cooking some!)

Only people i like is adele and kate in the fakeaway factory actually film videos in house just in normal clothes just aprons no hats no pro hair and makeup just like a normal same gender couple.

Met Nigella at a book signing a couple of years ago here in Tasmania.

She is tiny with a complexion like porcelain.

I thanked her for the pleasure her programmes had given me over the years and was not expecting her to say anything much in reply, but to my surprise she looked up at me and said "what a lovely thing to say"

I will always remember this and still watch repeats of her shows. I think she is lovely and she is very intelligent as well.
