Last night it was liver and bacon casserole with jacket potatoes. Today, homemade spicy vegetable soup for lunch, with wholemeal bread. Then this evening it was chicken tikka biryani - ready meal, I'm afraid, we've had a busy day! I have spent the afternoon baking fruit cake - my response to cold weather is always to eat more carbs, unfortunately, so I'm really hoping the temperature rises soon, or I shall undo all the good work I've done so far this year
