A friend and I meet once a week for a snack lunch - usually just soup or sandwiches. It is my turn today, she rang yesterday morning and said she was taking care of her DGD today and could she bring her - of course I said yes.
She then told me her DGD is going through a phase where she will only eat white bread sandwiches, made with ready sliced cheese. Not something I normally buy but having previously witnessed a melt-down by this little monster darling I decided to go with the flow. I am making up the sandwiches in readiness - how the hell do you separate the slices? No matter what I do these pesky slices of plastic cheese don't come apart!
