please google Paris Hilton lasagnegringrin
It deserves to be shared and, joy of joys!, she's going to put up another cooking demonstration soon. Can't wait!

Hahaha! Brilliant!
Slinking in, with dog in hand, and "Hi Guys", was one of my favourite bits.
Unicorn mist ????
Talk about car crash tv but at least she made it to the end and it did look a bit like a lasagne. Bless!

Oh dear.

I managed to watch as far as the cheese grating comments.

During my teaching career, on three separate occasions I was asked by a student if I'd ever had a proper job. I have been trying to think what sort of, "Proper job", she might be able to do. So far no result! Any ideas?

Surely, if this was a, "serious", cooking program they would have managed a run through so that she wasn't faffing about saying, "This is the first time I've cooked here and I'm not even sure there is a grater".

Still she seems mainly harmless if a bit silly. She might even inspire some people to try cooking real food.

The only thing is that the dog, the gloves and the cheese thing seem like a recipe for food poisening.

I've just watched some of it! I dare not show it to my Italian husband he'd have a heart attack?. I've never seen anyone precook the pasta. This is homemade cannelloni! I'll get him to make a video??

lucywinter Tue 28-Jan-20 14:46:46

Well, I thought it was really good. Bess.

Mapleleaf Tue 28-Jan-20 14:19:21

Oh goodness me! I've just tried to watch it. Managed 30 seconds - it's truly awful, but I suppose it might be entertaining if you manage to stick with it....
What on earth are those glove things for? Oh, and that long hair flapping about - so hygienic, not ??

Callistemon Wed 22-Jan-20 13:48:52

grin
Great vq!

vampirequeen Wed 22-Jan-20 13:39:36

I think the aluminium tray that was finally put into the oven was ...'here's one that someone else made earlier' grin

Callistemon Wed 22-Jan-20 11:18:05

I thought that the tinfoil tray was too small for the ingredients and the lasagne would spill all over that pristine never-been-used oven.
But no, alas.

Bellanonna Wed 22-Jan-20 11:15:21

Still puzzled. Surely she wasn’t being serious? And handling the dog in those gloves, then using them to grate cheese.

Callistemon Wed 22-Jan-20 10:54:35

Oh, just hilarious! grin
I never knew she was such a comedienne. What a hoot!

Or - is it meant to be serious?

She was carrying the dog wearing those gloves, then handling the food wearing the same gloves
Her hair was flicking around all over the food
She was spraying some 'unicorn mist' around the food.

She's obviously never let a morsel of lasagne past her lips.

Oh, and remind me never ever to eat in a Hilton Hotel if she is in charge of the food.

vampirequeen Wed 22-Jan-20 10:02:25

I thought it was hilarious. I loved the way she kept saying that all her friends love her lasagne when it was obvious she'd never cooked before in her life. My favourite bit was when she was using a potato masher and a spatula at the same time to stir the mince lol.

Elegran Wed 22-Jan-20 09:31:24

All of them stuck together in a heap.

annsixty Wed 22-Jan-20 09:29:57

And just how long were those lasagna sheets cooking while she faffed around?

Elegran Wed 22-Jan-20 09:29:11

Nigella did the sexing-up-cooking thing too - but she could actually cook. I couldn't bear to watch more than a couple of minutes of her posturing.

Chewbacca Wed 22-Jan-20 09:24:25

A particular favourite of mine was where, after assembling her lasagne, she found an onion and a garlic. The look of perplexity as to what the hell she was to do with them was priceless! I was quite impressed with her quick thinking that she'd "decided not to use them" even though she'd brought her sunglasses especially for the job!

Elegran Wed 22-Jan-20 09:22:57

She starts by slinking into the kitchen carrying and petting the little dog and says "Hi guys . . " Yup, definitely for the guys.

Lots of marketable product placement lying displayed on the worktop and in the fridge. She'll get plenty of dosh from the sellers of these.

vampirequeen Wed 22-Jan-20 08:11:55

Yay we can buy unicorn mist. prodnaskincare.com/products/unicorn-mist

It only costs £24.42 plus postage. A must for when you're cooking lol

vampirequeen Wed 22-Jan-20 08:07:57

I need unicorn mist.

vampirequeen Wed 22-Jan-20 08:07:18

digg.com/video/paris-hilton-lasagna This is one of the funniest serious cooking videos ever.

Bellanonna Wed 22-Jan-20 00:15:25

Was she being serious? confused

Chewbacca Tue 21-Jan-20 23:09:01

Now I know where I've been going wrong with my cooking........ I've forgotten the "unicorn mist" spray. Gah!

tanith Tue 21-Jan-20 22:24:52

I must try that recipe next time ?

Alishka Tue 21-Jan-20 22:05:27

Well! Something I've just learned - she talks about "slivering"?
It's not a term I was familiar with, but it means cutting something into slivers?
Duh! Silly meblushgrin

annsixty Tue 21-Jan-20 21:45:57

Just loved it.
Is she for real as the youngsters say?
Actually perhaps they don't, perhaps it's just me .

Alishka Tue 21-Jan-20 21:32:58

Yes, what was the 'special gloves' thing all about?
And ditching the onion and garlic, just because..
And WHY was the dog dressed in a French Maid's outfit?
So many questions, so little time....
