I haven't been able to buy eggs down here in Exeter for the past 10 days. I work so I can't get to the supermarket until around 5pm or later and there isn't an egg to be had anywhere? Aldi, Co-op, Sainsburys, Tescos? Weird....... I'm salivating at the thought of 2 soft boiled eggs and toast.

Ha ha! Thanks for the offer MawB and PamelaJ1. Perhaps a hard boiled egg wrapped in bubble wrap would survive the post, but I doubt it. Actually, on that note, haven't had much post recently? Not even junk mail?

Last update. Yay! I have eggs. Went to my local supermarket today. The only eggs they had left were the extra large free range eggs which were considerably more expensive than the ones I usually buy. However, I was so pleased to get eggs I bought 3x6 packs and look forward to soft boiled eggs tomorrow morning and perhaps even an omelette for dinner grin

I have never had any bother getting my free range eggs from Lidl. Might it be a local distribution problem?
