What are you all having to eat tonight? I cook every evening and have been getting bored with the usual meals. Tonight, I've made a Chicken Jambalaya - it's a Hello Fresh recipe I had ages ago, but I bought all the ingredients and have adapted it a bit.

I've made a carrot cake for afters.... with cream grin

Chicken sandwiches and salad. The chicken is from yesterday which I stripped this morning with some bits for the cats too.
An M&S chocolate orange lolly ice grin to finish.

We've got leftover roast chicken from yesterday but I should really be making a Welsh cawl as it is St David's Day

I'm doing a Nigella recipe tonight - chicken cooked in masala and chicken stock with red grapes, served with potatoes and green beans. I hope it will be alright - I've not made it before. I've made a pear and almond cake for dessert to be served with crime fraiche.

Home made chicken curry. “Pudding” was a smoothie made with apple, banana, kiwi fruit, strawberries, ginger, honey and a stray plum that was just hanging around minding its own business. Thick enough to eat with a spoon!

Today's offering is Roast Beef and Yorkshire Puds with all the trimmings - ages since I've done this and am so looking forward to it. Send your daughter round annsixty - there's always a few spare puds on the go ! There's also a fresh baked apple pie to go at - groan !
Last night was a favourite - King Prawn and Salmon Tagliatelle, in a creamy fish/tomato type sauce that I concocted by just throwing stuff into the pan grin

Tonight it’s roast pork and stuffing with veg and myGD has pleaded for Yorkshire puds even though she knows my fixed idea they should only be with beef.
Last night’s was delicious, salmon fillets topped with pesto, panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan, with sauté potatoes and tender stem.

We just had stir fried garlic prawns with zucchini and mushrooms and baby tomatoes on that quick steamed red and brown rice from Aldi. Only took 15 minutes, very quick but tasted good.

Takeaway from the pub, we tell ourselves we’re supporting them, which of course we are, but it beats cooking.
Lasagna for my daughter and I, scampi for husband, sausage and chips for the children.

I had a sudden urge to have a goat's cheese salad tonight when the sun was shining earlier, so rushed out and bought the stuff. Now the temperature has dropped, I'm not so keen any more. The accompanying wine will warm me up.
