EllanVannin

I remember mum having goodly supplies of angelica and caraway seeds as she was always baking and I used to eat the angelica when she wasn't looking.

I imagine you can get it in most supermarkets.

I've never found it in any of our local supermarkets (and we've got just about the whole lot apart from Waitrose). I think it's probably gone out of fashion.

It's sold on line, though

I remember my mum always had this in the larder to use when decorating cakes. It was cut into small strips and tasted very sweet and green in colour. She would use it as the leaves and stem of a flower with a small piece of glace cherry as the actual flower. We loved them as they looked so pretty especially against plain white icing on fairy cakes. smile
